The usual things people ask.

What counts as a check?

A check is one monitored job, such as a nightly backup, a cron entry, or a queue worker. Your plan limit is the total number of checks you own across every project, so you can organize them into projects however you like without changing the count.

What happens when I reach my check limit?

Every check you have already set up keeps running. To add more, you either remove a check you no longer need or move up to a plan with a higher limit. We never stop monitoring the checks you already have just because you have reached the limit.

What happens to my checks if I downgrade or cancel?

Nothing is ever deleted. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you move to a smaller plan and you are over its check limit, you choose which checks stay active and the rest are paused. Paused checks keep all of their history and switch back on the moment you upgrade again.

How long do you keep my history after a downgrade?

Ping history beyond your new plan window is kept for a 30-day grace period before it is removed, so you have time to upgrade again or export what you need. Retention is measured in days and is shown in the comparison table above, next to the per-check event cap.

Is there a limit on how much ping history you keep per check?

Yes, and it is set generously. Each check keeps up to a set number of its most recent events, shown as the per-check event cap in the comparison table above. We keep your history up to your plan window in days, or the most recent events up to that cap, whichever comes first. This only affects very high-frequency checks, such as one pinging every few seconds, and it keeps storage predictable so we can offer long day-based retention on every plan. Your downtime history is not affected by this per-check event cap.

Do you bill per team member?

No. Invite as many teammates as you like at no extra cost. You pay for the number of checks you monitor, never for seats.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes, right from the billing page in your dashboard. Upgrades and switches between monthly and annual take effect immediately, and Paddle works out the proration for you. If you move to a smaller plan, you choose which checks stay active and the change applies at the end of your current billing period. You can also cancel from the billing page, which keeps your plan active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can resume any time before then.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. The Free plan needs no credit card and does not expire. It is a real monitoring plan rather than a trial, so you can run a few checks on it for as long as you want.

When are paid plans launching?

How much do I save with annual billing?

Annual billing is priced at roughly two months off compared with paying monthly, which works out to about 20 percent. You can switch between monthly and annual whenever you like.

Which alert channels are included?

Every plan includes all of the standard channels: email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, webhooks, and PagerDuty. There is no channel paywall. You can send the same alert to as many channels as you want.

How do premium alert credits work?

We are adding premium alert channels such as WhatsApp, voice calls, and SMS. Higher plans include a monthly allowance of credits toward these, and each premium alert uses one credit. Standard channels stay unlimited and free, so if you run out of premium credits your monitoring keeps working. You can top up credits or wait for your monthly allowance to reset.

Is the REST API available on every plan?

Yes. The full management API and API keys are available on every plan, including Free. You can create and manage checks, read their status, and pull history from your own tooling with no upgrade required.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If PingArk is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. That covers your first payment and every renewal, so an annual charge you did not want is never stuck with you. Write in from the address on your account and we will sort it out.

What payment methods and currencies do you support?

Paddle is our merchant of record and handles the payment, accepting all major cards and a range of local methods. Prices are shown and billed in US dollars. Any VAT, GST, or sales tax that applies where you are is worked out and included in the total you approve at checkout, and Paddle pays it over to your tax authority, so there is nothing for you to add on afterwards.

Do you have a plan for open source and nonprofits?

Yes. If you maintain an open-source project or run a nonprofit, apply through the contact form and we will comp a Pro-grade plan. Your CI and scheduled jobs deserve monitoring too.

Do you have a Laravel package and a JavaScript SDK?

Yes, both. The Laravel package registers your scheduled tasks automatically and captures run duration, exit codes, and failures. The JavaScript SDK wraps any Node.js job in one function and ships adapters for Next.js, Express, and Nuxt. And PingArk still works with any language over plain HTTP.

How do I get support?

Support is included on every plan. You can open a ticket by email or from inside your dashboard at any time, on any plan. The plans differ only in how fast we respond: Free gets standard responses within two business days, the paid plans get priority responses within one business day, and our top plan gets the fastest turnaround within four business hours.
